we are finally starting to get back to normal, but one of the largest fires was only 21 miles from my house. Fire season hasn't even started yet. Doesn't help having triple digits every day and no rain. Oregon and Washington doesn't look good either.

lots of destruction. fires won't be out until at least mid October. So sad for the west coast.

Hope I'm not too old to communicate with you. I would love to hear more about your book as I love to write as well. I am originally from a suburb outside of New York city but moved to California, the San Francisco bay area in 1978. I have 2 daughters and one son and my grandson is turning 3 years old today!
