Started a trazodone medication last night to keep my anxiety in check and to get better sleep. This morning, I felt like I could sleep all day.
I re-arranged my apartment bedroom yesterday; the bed and chest of drawers locations have been swapped. The main reason for this was to mitigate ambient sounds I was hearing at night that was keeping me from sleeping.
It may be hard to see in the photo, but I saw what looks like a heron along the Iowa River on the way home from volunteering today.

While biking home, I saw this along the sidewalk (despite living in a big town, white-tail deer are quite common).

This heatwave stinks: not only do I feel like I'm boiling both externally and internally whenever I step outside, but it feels like the rest of humanity disappears and I have almost no one to talk to.
