not so good either. I've a big fine from the library for damadged books - they were in a bag with a glass bottle when I dropped it. :( so, I have to pay 22 quid!!
'everything has an end but the sausage has two' - our version mentions a mealie pudding, which is kinda like a sausage, but oatmeal not meat. we're more Nordic/Germanic in this part of Scotland than Celtic.

here's a German saying you may not've heard before.... alles hut ein ende nur die wurst hut zwei. here, in this part of Scotland we have... aathin his an end but 'e mealie puddin his twaa. same thing more or less. ;)
