Wow! I think I wrote so much that interpals cut it off. :P If that happened I had said:

which would be so exciting! That is what my wife and I plan to do. Make international friends, like you :) and one day hopefully visit some of them or even host some on the house. We'd love to welcome foreigners to our future home!We can dream at least haha. :)

I hope you are having a wonderful week over in Bath.

Much love!

Hey Rio!

Nice! I should tell you about our home made sweat lodge at my college. :P Toward the end of the year the people in charge of the outdoor activities made like a natural sweat lodge out on one of the fields next to a frozen lake. :p So you would go into the sweat lodge and then dip into the freezing ice quickly, which was quite an experience... But fun!

That Art foundation course seems terrific! At my university we have a program where you design your own courses the last two years you are there. Depending on what you would like to focus on, you work with your main Professor who will support and guide you. I'm making a class on Islam with him this semester so that should be exciting!

Yeah. Sushi is fantastic, though I will say that the last time I had it I got food poisoning. :P Was pretty horrible... I had it on the plane ride back to my college XD

I don't believe you can post images on other peoples wall, only your own. If you wanted you could just use a site like flickr or photobucket, or even tinyurl to upload the image. Up to you haha :p

Oh no! I didn't mean that I spoke Arabic but that I will be learning it soon. I know some Arabic for the Islamic prayers but that is it. I know Standard Portuguese (Portugal) and Latin American Spanish from Mexico.

I love your long term goal. Yeah I would hope that maybe you could even do some post graduate work in the non-profit sector. I know that my undergraduate school has a sister graduate school that offers a masters in that. So I'm sure you can find some kind of help! Love that you want to do that though. :)

Well after I finish my 2 years I plan to take at least a semester or two off from school. My wife and I would love to fly to an island and take a vacation to relax. I meant a lovely individual from Mauritius on here and I spoke to my wife about it and she thinks it would be lovely to visit the little nation. Then we could even visit the penpal I made on here which woul

The sweat lodge sounds sweet! I went on a native american sweat lodge experience. Was quite the experience. But being with the Sufi's must have been its own unique twist haha.

I've always been interested in theology, faith, religion in general. I look at it as an unfolding story. And a beautiful one at that. I love the similarities that faiths seem to share as well as their stark differences.

Yeah! Interfaith ministry, depending where you're doing it at, can be quite the ministerial path. I frequent religion posts on various websites and try to interact with various faiths/viewpoints as I can myself. :)

Nice about studying art. What, specifically, will you be studying your first year? Last semester I took Art History and Visual Studies which complemented each other well. :) My last project for the class was looking at the visual make up of food and how individuals work with food as an art form. I used the greatest sushi chef in the world for my example, a man maned Jiro. You should check out the documentary that was recently released about him, "Jiro Dreams of Sushi". It was amazing. :)

The pit-bull goes by Abbey or Abigail and the shepherd is Dallas. Aw that dog must be cute. :) Share a picture some day! I would perhaps like to get into law. These last two years will have me learning Arabic so I might even take Islam a little further, not sure yet though.

How about yourself? What plans do you have after completing your studies? In general I would like to just have enough capital to visit places around the world, and people as well. :) Hence I like doing this pen pal exchange because I actually would like to see the places in the world with the inhabitants, no tourist traps. :D

So you must have really loved Bristol then. Sounds like an exciting place!

Haha 20 years! Amazing. Go Rio's parents :)

Yeah that song is from Breaking Bad as well. The show has a wide variety of artists and genres going on so I'm glad to have been exposed to so much fantastic music.

That's good though. :) The Ukulele can sound quite beautiful. And with your five years experience I'm sure it usually does in your hands haha.

I am majoring in theology with a focus in Islamic studies. I'll be working with a professor who really knows a lot of fantastic things about the faith. He's from Pakistan and he happens to be a Sufi too, so he's a cool dude.

But this semester I'll be taking some comparative religion classes as well so that should be fun. How about you? And yes! As per my picture I have a puppy pit-bull right now along with a 4 year old German Shepherd. :) I love em both! And you?
